    Residential fires pose a huge risk for all home occupants, especially children.  It's important to teach your children about fire safety from a young age using one of maNy online resources.

    Many homes overseas may not come equipped with smoke detectors.  It is recommended that enough smoke detectors are purchased and that they are the right type.  The folowing webpage provides an overview of the different types of available smoke detectors.

    Fire extinguishers for residential use are also recommended along with carbon monoxide detectors.
