Recent OSAC Events

June 2010 Meeting:

    AMCHAM Monterrey and the U.S. Consulate General Monterrey co-hosted a breakfast meeting at Club Industrial in San Pedro on June 2, 2010.  The event was attended by Consul General Bruce Williamson and several dozen Presidents and Vice-Presidents of American companies with a presence in Monterrey.  The keynote speakers from the U.S. Consulate were Harry Penate, representing the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Bobby Silva, representing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Michael Murphy, Regional Security Officer.  Their presentations covered the current security situation in Monterrey and the region, and some predictions on what could happen moving forward.  Company representatives were also invited to share their thoughts on OSAC's future in Monterrey, and confirm their level of commitment to the organization.
