The American Citizens Services (ACS) Section of the U.S. Consulate General in Monterrey has a dedicated staff who can provide a range of emergency and non-emergency services to U.S. citizens visiting or living in the Consular District.  For more information regarding their services, please visit their website:

Monterrey-bound U.S. Citizen business travelers and expats are encouraged to register with the Consulate.  Registration makes your presence and whereabouts known, in case it is necessary for a consular officer to contact you in an emergency. During a disaster overseas, American consular officers can assist in evacuation were that to become necessary, but they cannot assist you if they do not know where you are.
